Self-Hypnosis, Meditation, and Contemplation
Self-hypnosis is my preferred tool for making rapid, transformative changes. For those who are deeply committed to personal growth, there is no more direct path to self-awareness than entering an altered state of consciousness. In this state, the subconscious and unconscious minds become accessible, offering a treasure trove of knowledge and emotions that can be transformed to positively affect life on the conscious level.
In the hypnotic state, you are open to guidance from higher aspects of yourself—your High Self, Soul, Spirit, and Full Self. From this expanded perspective, new choices and solutions present themselves. Experiencing phenomena beyond the mind’s normal limits stretches your belief systems, opening the door to change and growth.
Because you gain new perspectives and insights in the altered state, it is crucial to remain fully alert while being deeply relaxed. Active participation in the process is essential. Personal self-hypnotic suggestions are most effective when repeated throughout the day. As you reinforce these suggestions, you guide yourself to new levels of understanding and can choose new directions from those elevated perspectives.
Many individuals exist in a perpetual state of unconscious hypnosis, where their minds are constantly bombarded with the suggestion to be on guard and prepared for the worst. This steady state of fear keeps their bodies tense and alert to perceived dangers. That’s why, when working with self-hypnosis, it’s important to be deeply relaxed—allowing every muscle, nerve, and bone to release tension. Only in this relaxed state can you clearly experience your body sensations and emotions.
If our issues arise from beliefs residing in our consciousness, then we have the ability to change those beliefs and, with them, the quality of our lives. Changing these beliefs at the subconscious and unconscious levels creates dramatic shifts in our conscious reality. Self-hypnosis allows you to access these deeper levels of mind, giving you the power to consciously create the reality you desire.
True self-discovery is an inward journey, one that only you can undertake. No teacher, therapist, guru, or even loved one can do it for you. You created your reality before you were born, knowing you would remember very little once incarnated. To help balance the odds, you provided yourself with the tools necessary to master this life.
The tools are already within you. This website offers hints at some of the skills that could assist you in finding the real you on this monumental journey. What you have learned and what you know must be put to use.
